Why the hell modern os so picky when it comes to writing data to cd/dvd? From 5 gt-pro cdr 56x only 1 burns flawlessly. What free burning software you recommend? Been using xfburn, brasero, imgburn and deep burner free. What kinda cd/dvd i must use? Shall i pray to god and offer sacrifice before burning? * +

Don't burn at max speeds. Try 16x or even 8x * +

The slower the speed, the better the burn. * +

don't buy cheap media, try a different drive, is the drive firmware the newest, ask a mate to burn some of tour disks for you and if he gets the same ratio of bad Burns then it would appear to be a bad batch of disks, if he burns all successfully, then your drive may be on its way to heaven, burn slower and you may get better results * +
