Hello people. im decided to buy a new ssd, which is 64 GB Crucial m4 MLC Sata 3. Before buying it, i just want to know is Intel B75 Express Chipset support sata3(6gb/s)? Anyway my second choice of SSD is OCZ agility 3 with 120gb of SATA 3, but i heard it is quite problematic although cheaper. * +

save up for a 120gb crucial m4 or get a samsung or intel ssd. the b75-s usually come with sata 3 6gbit. depends on the motherboard how many ports there are some have more on secondary chipset etc. * +

64gb is too small even for os install. i have a 120gb ssd and after os install and some usuall apps i get only 70gb of free space. unless you use it as a cache drive for an hdd then its fine but the chip and motherboard have to support ssd caching. * +

Thanks for the heads up alvar. i'll just go with the 120gb ssd crucial m4 then :). Anyway i also decided to buy a new desktop for the SDD. My preference would be either Dell xps 8500 i5 or Acer aspire AM3985-5335W8D. Which of the desktop will able to utilize my Crucial SDD sata 3? i would just ask the sales person but unfortunately they are also lack of experience in this matter. SDD is still sort of new in my country. * +

The 256gb sammy 340 can be had for 150gbp or less, a 120gb is not goung to sustain you * +

meghertz, what do you mean by not able to sustain me? i'll use my ssd for my OS, some games and heavy application only. All my media such as music, pic etc will be placed under a normal hdd :) * +

Games usually take up a good chunk of disk space. My 256gb is almost full and all i uave on it is os, programmes and games. The rest of my stuff is on larger, mechanical disks * +

I recently had BF3 and Rage on my 120GB SSD.. They were 60GB for the both of them and my SSD was pretty much full. I use symbolic links a lot since getting my SSD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NTFS_junction_point * +
