Hello people. I've gat an emachines Laptop and its running on Windows 7. I wanted to install Mint 11 alongside Win 7 buh there was a problem. When I boot Mint, it loads buh da display light doesn't go on, the screen is black. * +

run a liveCD of mint and start Gparted .. look for a ext4 or ext3 partition and delete it. u must have ur win 7 cd to restore MBR coz grub will erased * +

go to the linux website and download it? the download pack will install it side by side * +
