It will run. It depends on the visual quality you'd like to play with. Had a Dual core 2.0ghz, 2gb ram and 8500gt and I could play at Low settings. Got Gt630 gpu and now I can play at High. * +

A Better but not neccassarilly a newer gpu will make it run better yes, but with a pc theres lots of things that can make a difference. * +

simple answer: Yes it will run skyrim, but not very well. You need a good processor, adequate ram and a good gpu to run that game on max. But in your case, i would add 2GB more RAM and upgrade your GPU. But if ur content on playing the game on low detail and on low resolution (800x600 if ur lucky), then ur current rig would handle it. * +

skyrim is not a cpu intensive game so look up your ram and gpu. get a gtx 550 ti when on budget and atleast 4 gb of ram. * +
