I'm going to try it on my pc soon,it's supposed to create a storage repository in the hard drive which will act as a ram to the concerned operating system. There's one by starwind,gonna use it because even with 4gb of ram and an msconfig command prompt I'm unable to stop grand theft auto from freezing over. * +

Ok,it's working. The thing's name is StarWind Ram Disk and it can be downloaded from fileguru.com furthermore,be sure to install it in a drive with atleast 20gb free memory,as the software doesn't support any change of location from where the virtual ram space is obtained. * +

s**t fk don't try it it actually converts ram to storage drives who wants that. Hmmm. Windows 7 has crashed and refuses to boot. Now using windows xp lol have to reinstall 7. Apparently the thing that converts hard drive storage to ram is called virtual drive and trying to sn*tch that torrent atm * +

you dont need a program to do it, go to control panel, system, advanved settings, in system properties select advanced tab, look in the performance settings and there it is, it creates a page file on the hard drive thats used as ram * +

The old page file system was dreamt up because RAM used to be very expensive and you never had a lot of it. Now it is just as easy to have 12gb+ of RAM and turn the page file off if you wanted lol. A fast SSD might manage 550mb/s read speed. A fast CPU and RAM can manage over 20000mb/s memory bandwidth.. No contest * +
