The search on my hp laptop doesn't show files that are obviously somewhere on the company. I noticed the difference since I went from Win7 pro to Win7 Ultimate.. And its become much slower in turning up results.. Is there ny I can do? * +

its not a guarantee u must find everythn dere,cant yiu just goto where u saved de company files...? Even me most programs i installed sometimes i cant search find them through search buttons,afterall computers are not perfect they are just virtual Human Beings * +

god forbid! computers are just machines that follow instructions, have no free will and hopefully they will stay so.. the whole automated features and computer made decissions/assumptions can be a severe annoyment. just take a look at search engines.. * +

I wouldn't have been concerned, but the fact that the search button worked well for me before I upgraded to Win7 ultimate is what is disturbing. Like there is some lil settings i need to do * +

Goto Advanced. Show hidden files and folders! If searching is slow indexing maybe disabled. Enable it! * +
