My ssd was crashing nearly every time I turned on my PC after being on for awhile. So I updated the firmware of the drive. And updated the Mb bios and chipset, that didn't work. I didn't think to update the sata controller. So I did that and connected the drive on it's own cable to the power supply. It hasn't crashed for 2weeks now * +

its a ocz vertex 3, 120gb. had it conected to a single 4 Pin molex to 2 sata power adapter the other sata was conected to another drive. i unpluged that and gave the ssd its own cable from the psu. seems to have worked. * +

I'm pretty sure all the problems are now fixed with the latest firmware, and I would bet all them reviews are old. * +
