I'm looking for an Amplifier that supports Dolby for my Pc.. I have a Good sound card ''Asus Xonar D2'' a decent set of Speakers ''Logitech Z623'' I'm not wanting to spend more than 200 pounds.. I have very little knowledge about Amps and i have no idea which is a good brand name for them so any help would be greatly appreciated * +

I figured if i was using an Amp the sound quality would be a lot better, dunno if my speakers have a built in Amp or not. The sound quality is very good as it is so may just leave it unless an Amp would make a lot of difference * +

Is this related to me saying you should get an amp? That was just for if you buy high quality audiophile headphones. Your sound card puts out a very good quality signal, but it doesn't have an in built amp, so through your speakers, which have an amp already, it will sound good. But going straight to audiophile headphones, you will miss out on audiophile sound. So you would need a headphone amp, like the Fiio E9 * +
