using a gprs (ZONG Pakistan ltd.), my download speed is 3kb/s (average.) i cant watch videos. further my total download limit is 2Gb/month. so i dont watch videos. please tell me what that video says. @pw. * +

that clicking hard drive is on its way out, whatever you do it will not work. freezer , etc etc etc none of them work. i lost 350gb of photos to a drive giving up on me. clicks lasted me no longer than a week, 2 boots a day running 24/7 and not above 75 load, back it up and get yourself a samsung F1 spin very good alround HDD i found * +

Or a spin point F3 5400rpm but double data density on the disc so its access time is the same as a 7200rpm drive. Benefit is less power consumption, less noise and less heat. * +

no, i don't think so. they seamed like a very good idea at first, but 1. they are very expensive. for a 350 - 500GB hdd i can get a 64GB ssd top. second, the speed benefit, the most appealing thing is questionable. the whole way flash memory works, the erasing, the triming , the limited lifespan.. especially cause my data hdd is very often around full. and on top of that, i'd have to upgrade xp to get native trim support. and even if not, its adding extra wear on the hard drive. * +
