Installed ubuntu 11.1 but i cant download software due to proxy authentification. Tried changing the settings of the proxy in the software settings bt it keeps giving me the same msg-can not download repository information or sumthn like that. My connection is fine btw coz i can surf with mozilla. Nb:i cud use the gconf tool bt it also needs to be downloaded, that brings us back to prob 1. * +
