Hi, what software do you guys recommend for converting from the major formats such as mkv, avi and mp4 to play on DVD. looking for a universal format and the program that will convert very quickly. was using format factory however the plain vob generated and burnt on disk is not playable on some pc's. * +

i have tried convertxtodvd before but it kinda took a long time to convert. think about two hours. i'm using a single core pc and i know that speed of conversion depends on how fast the cpu is so was looking for convertxtodvd and format factory alternatives.never tried handbrake, will give it a test run and see, thanks. * +
