Intel core2duo 1.8ghz 1gb ram......taking a whole 9 minutes to boot up snow leopard at every switch on any ideas what could be causing this lol? Works fine once booted up. New hard drive maybe? Or software glitch? Any help would be appreciated *

i would suggest you get some ram for that thing. 1gb isnt enough. Get atleast 2gb but 4gb is better if your machine can take it. Also dont expect a 1.8ghz core2duo to be very quick. *

to be honest I wouldn't have installed snow with 1gb of ram. it belongs to a mate. Thanks for that I will tell him. *
