I just purchased an Envy 15 recently through a friend in the US. I happily opened my new pc, after doing the first set up, I shut down the pc then few minutes later I tried to on my new pc but it doesn't resepond, it only blinks an orange light on the F12key keyboard. What could be the problem? Please help. I haven't used this pc for up to 30 minutes. *

Can you get into Bios and the Boot Options, which any new Pc or Laptop i always like to do a Fresh Install of Windows 7, to do this you will need a Windows 7 Installation Dvd and selet Option boot from cd dvd drive.. Folow the on screen instructions, there are many ways of getting the Installation Dvd either puchace you or simply torrent it, your choice, tho most laptops will come with a Installation Restore Dvd did ya friend Include that? *

Just a quick guess, but try holding the F12 key while pressing the power button. *

The screen doesn't come on at all, I can even get into the BIOS settings. when I press the power button it the F12 key just blinks and goes off. *
