Battlefield3 works on my system right but it lags on ultra settings full res. it even lags when i play it on its lowest settings. there must be something wrong. ive got a 3.16 core 2 duo processor. 4gig ram and ati radeon hd7870. any suggestions what i should try? * +

The cpu is the problem here . A core 2 duo even at 3.16ghz is a massive and i do mean massive bottleneck for that card . * +

Yup, plus that card would not play BF3 on Ultra with decent FPS to max it ya looking at a HD6950 so if ya wanna play BF3 then ya gonna have to upgrade ya Processor * +

Not all AMD Drivers are cr*ppy the latest version has been really good, well i get more than 14fps on all my games

I can't get bf3 to run on my machine, i have a p4 1.6, 256 meg ram, onboard graphics and 20gig hd, any idea what the problem is? * +
