I take it if I have it on my CPU will last longer and temps will be lower and power will be lower tho I'm wondering how much of a difference will it make also will having it on cause problems with my Oc and Gaming? I've always had it turned off n I've decided to turn it on to see if I can notice myself but thought I'd ask for others Opinions anyways * +

If I remember correctly it scales the speed back if nothing intensive is running, once a game or resource heavy app is ran then it will ramp up your speed. And it shouldn't affect your oc * +

whether you use it or not will depend on how stable your o.c. is... i used to leave it on when i ran my cpu at 3.6 on stock volts... it worked well enough but it can cause serious vdroop which can cause instant offs and bsods... because of vdroop. so if you use it you may want to limit the voltage spikes by enabling llc (load line calibration) but again this can cause its own issues. if the cpu multi drops and jumps back up it can cause the llc to over compensate and can result in a bsod... * +

I left it on with my 2500k at 4.8ghz, had no probs with it, but running stock atm, as 3.7ghz is more then enough for my needs * +

Well at moment it will Idle around 1.6Ghz n then jump my 2600k up to 4.4Ghz.. Will it save CPU life ? A noticeable difference ? just some applications like EA's Origin will leave it constantly @ 4.4Ghz so i may as well have it turned off * +

You will get more stabillity with it turned off. I didn't think anyone left it on when overclocking. * +
