I want to connect an older monitor as an extra screen to my lg tv. Old monitor has an RGB cable n tv has DVI-D... What do i need to have 2 screens?? Is there a one cable solution? My DVI-D adapter didn't work. Help! * +

Well....you want to connect a 2nd monitor to your TV? WHY? yawn Usually people want to connect a 2nd monitor to their PC. 1st time i hear that, its totally pointless. * +

You will need a graphics card with two outputs. DVI-D, with an adapter, won't work with a VGA port. DVI-D is digital and VGA is anologue. * +

in that case you would have to plug a second display to the output device not the tv therre are no video out ports on tvs atleast non that i know of. only inputs and audio out on sum. * +
