Is it possible to partition my current hard disk without tempering any data?... If yes, then is there any reliable 3rd party soft which can do that without any possibility of data loss?.... And is it possible to repartition without effecting the OS?..... Sorry, too many questions....lol..... (I think I'm over expecting with the last question) * +

I would suggest that you back everthing up first . If you have not done this before , you'll probably make a mistake . Making mistakes are a specialty of mine . bike2 * +

_1. defragment, _2. Backup Your data, _3 I like Easeus partition manager, n I think its simple and reliable. _4 you must take risk., if you dont, leave it as is. * +

comphelp only the last partition can be shrunk or expanded. You should always plan the partitioning in advance. * +

In Win 7, press start, type 'disk management', hit enter.. Profit. There is a very small risk you could lose data. * +

OK... I'll backup all my data... But, I don't want to reinstall win7 again, coz it'll be a nightmare to make all the adjustments and installations again.... @newt... Have seen it, but is it better than any 3rd party softs? * +
