Overclocking is making the processor run faster than its factory clock, ie my i7 is 3.4ghz i have it running @ 4.4ghz which is a 1ghz Overclock, Obviously u have never overclocked your computer or u have been messing around with your BIOS.. * +

Next time your computer is Off, open it up, look on the Motherboard for Clear CMOS it will be a button to press, once pressed close the Pc bk up n turn on your Pc.. U should not get the Warning again unless u mess around with your BIOS not knowing what u r doing * +

If u just want to get rid of your problem, remove the CMOS battery for 2 minutes and then put it in place again.... This will set all your bios settings to default........ But if you are heading towards overclocking, then do some research on the net and grab some basics of bios then proceed... * +

What motherboard, RAM and CPU do you have? Also, hit the start button, type 'system information', press enter, and post the BIOS version/date info. There might be an update available. * +

go into bios and select load optomised defaults... this will set your pc back to stock clocks... if you get that message again after reboot then your cmos battery is likley dieing. replac it with a decent 1. *
