Its always possible with browsers like Opera, Firefox, Chrome etc... *

you can set http accept header to some of the mobile content types like text/wml. also,you can set your user agent string to some of the mobile ones. just make sure your browser has support for the formats. firefox needs plugins,opera has it inbuilt. you can also use sjboy j2me emulator and browse with opera mini if you want a true mobile experience. *
