Can anyone help me I want to format my hd but I dnt have my sound driver cd anymore and also can't download it no net conection .can I somehow backup my installed drivers? * +

Use Device Manager and locate the directory its stored in * +

use google and you will find what folder the drivers are in. windows folder on your c drive * +

I think you might have to right click on the soundcard in device manager and point to the folder where the drivers are located for them to install. * +

yeah you will need to use the device manager to reinstall them *
