Tried to change the screen resolution of a frnds pc using an old CRT nw it says THE FREQUENCY IS EXCESS on a blak backgroundHow do I reset it bk? coz I cant adjust it on windows again. the screen is just blak. *

Press F8 key during boot up and select setting for last working settings you will see what I'm talking about once you load the options. *

Next time you change resolution, click apply instead of ok. It'll revert to previous setting then incase what you select doesn't work. *

You can also use the monitors own menu to change the hz value. *
