ok. its not ''BAD'' as it can handle 2TB data, can transfer data as slow as 15MB/s, it has got a major problem/drawback. it clicks atleast 3times/minut. and that clicking is very very ANNOYING. its a manufactring fault * +

reviews sujjests that its not due to the HDD in it-self but its the faulty PCB in the external casing, that produce Clicking Noise all the time. otherwise the actual HDD (segate ST2000DL003) isnt bad. and I have read somewhere, that the ONLY and ONLY way to get redoff this Clicking Noise is to replace the casing, which will void ''3YEARS limited warranty''. lol. Now I'll have to deal with this.. can you sujjest any thing, what should I do? void warranty or let it continue clicking.... plz. * +

Segate is WELL-AWARE of this clicking noise and but still continuing to manufacture such faulty external HDD. * +

clicking comes from damaged head... and hdd should be replaced under warranty.. *
