you know yourself the prices on the higher end offerings dont come down as much as say the midrange. * +

No but i do know that when a new generation hits with a big shrink on the manufacturing process the existing high end cards usually end up relegated to midrange. 5850 and GTX460 had no trouble at all matching up to the GTX285. I fully expect the midrange kepler to get fairly close to the existing GTX580 * +

Some of the insiders leak out a price of 299 dollars for the GK104. That is very very cheap. It could just be a tactic to slow sales of the Radeon HD7 series. However even if it is 350 dollars it should be enough to drop the prices of current high end stuff massively * +

600 bux seems to be the going rate. so 450 over hear is not unreasonable...going bt todays cards its more than likley. * +

Yes but you are still talking about the very very high end stuff. I am talking about the midrange keplers said to be close to the 7970 or at least the GTX580. 7950 for 300 dollars. Which is a good price. GTX580 performance for maybe 200-220 quid in the u.k? Sounds good to me * +

Anyway we will see. GK104 is the midrange design or its supposed to be in the usual nvidia naming scheme * +
