Hey ppl, really need some help with this, my pc was working just fine and it just switched off, now it doesn't wanna come on at all when I hit the power button, the fan doesn't spin, the lights on the tower don't even come on. Its like dead * +

Fuse , bad power switch , tripped breaker , disconnected power cord , blown power strip , bad power supply , etc . * +

unplug everything conected, and unplug from mains, press and hold the 'on' power putton, this will drain all left over power from system, leave it alone then for upto an hour, this will then insure tripped/overheated breakers and thermal fuses have had a chance too cool off, reconect every basic thing, monitor, keyboard mouse, dont conect anything else incase someting is fauly causing the overload, and turn back on. if this fails then it might be a blown fusewired type fuse, take pc appart * +

look on board for a fuse (looks like a standard 13amp type of fuse, usualy transparent, if you find one, take it out and hold up to a light to see if the internal fuse wire is still intact, if not it will need replacing, whilst there check all power conectors to the board one may of come loose. * +
