and its also obvious that his mobile intel graphics are not going to be as capable as the graphics in my spare desktop and the irony of it is, my spare desktop is also acer, not that makes any difference because it doesnt, but my point is both systems are from the same era and yet the desktop scores far less. it doesnt make any sense whatsover. my spare desktop is also running win 7 and appears much faster than his laptop in general use. infact there is no comparison to be honest. * +

and obviously the laptop hd spins at 5,400rpm compared to the desktops 7,200rpm. although having said that somebody pointed out earlier that most systems read the same 5.9 score regardless of the drives transfer rate which seems to be true. (individual hard drive access score/rating) * +

Are you still on about windows scores? Yes they are rubbish. Everyone has told you, they are meaningless, you seen so yourself constantly now 
so find other benchmarks if you want to compare systems or hardware. Its best to compare on what you need or want most * +

spartan2 If you had been reading this post properly you would have seen that I had doubted its accuracy from the beginning! the main reason I created it was to make others aware of the fact because not everyone has the same knowledge so before you try to take the pi*s as it were lol remember not everyone knows as much as you do! and besides the post has created enough interest to make it viable lol * +
