ok so i need to reformatt my computer. but after trying and failing to get it to boot from cd.. could i just put the hard drive in another computer then reformat it, then transfer it back to the other computer?!... * +

''could i just put the hard drive in another computer then reformat it'' No, you could have problems with drivers and such if you did that. Is the CD original and/or is it definitely bootable? You need to go into your BIOS and change the first boot device to your DVD/CD drive. * +
