Hey, I recently,installed a new hdd in my lap top so after the IT sorted it out the screen background images doesn't full the entire screen have these two black stripes on the sides like its not set in. Right, can anyone please help, its an acer 5113 aspire, windows 7 lp. * +

Right click on the desktop and personalise, click desktop background at the bottom and then at the bottom again where it says picture position make sure 'fill' is selected from the drop down menu * +

meant,that the screen it self doesnt full the whole screen its like an inch on both side of the screen the image of the screen to small, i hope you understand what im trying to say * +

the easiest thing would be trying a new resolution and or refresh rate, or using your screen adjust buttons if any or check in the driver software,nvidia control panel can correct these minor annoyances * +

Right click, screen resolution and choose the recommended resolution from the drop down options under 'resolution.' if that doesn't work try various other resolutions using the same method. Refresh rate is under 'monitor' in advanced options after right click - screen resolution. * +

hey buddy, its still doing the same, even if i play games on it the screen is like that it never use to be like that, ever since changeing the hdd from 250 to 500gb. also in the sdreen resolutions section i notice it only has mobile pc display there use to be another option before the hdd change an i use to have windows 7 ulitimate now i have professional, its really becoming a problem please isnt the any software i need for it to work as i must still install the acer arcade n the other discs * +
