hi there ive got an ipad2 32gb with wifi 3g i was just wonderin if any one could tell me how i connect it so i can use the 3g on it. i use wifi when im at home but i brought it so i could use it while i was out but im unsure how i connect it to the 3g network thank u * +

Just to be clear, you cant make ordinary gsm calls with it just yet. Skype is close enough and works well. To make the 3g internet work you will need a 3g compatible microsim, with an Internet plan, and ie, 500mb data per month allowance. If you look on the left side you'll see a small hole, you'll need to use the tool supplied with your iPad 2 or a thin pin/needle, and push it in there to release.. * +

The mocrosim tray. Place your microsim in the tray, with the shiny part of the sim card exposed, so it can be read by the iPad. Firmly place the tray with the sim card back into your iPad and wait a few seconds. A network signal will appear at the top left of the screen. You can take out and insert the tray even while the iPad is on. If you dont have a microsim, ask your network for one or buy a microsim cutter to convert an ordinary sim.
