Microsoft c++ redistributable its just making me angry if i start some game this error comes if the java starts this error comes and same with antivirus hwmonitor and clockgen pls help me how to get rid of it atm cant install a fresh copy of windows as will need to backup everythings * +

easy. install microsoft c++ redistributable. i beleive the filename is vcredist.exe * +

there are many versions of the redistributable.make sure you have the latest coz it seems you an old version which doesnt meet the game's requirements. and stop comparing C++ with java, it makes no sense! * +

as much scence as comparing a car and a horse carriage what java does is ignore the wheel and hire personal men to push... i cannot understand how it got so popular on modern computer o/s.. the source code may have similarities to c++ but the real thing is an entirely different story. as i kind of explained in the begining of this message,java is not executable on windows. it needs real windows executable made to understand the instructions sent by this alien code and translate to o/s * +
