i dont know how ive done it but like 90 of my files are set to open using MS office.all the file types changed their icon to MS office icon and i cant use my PC.restore point dosnt work.PLS HELP!!!!! * +

correction.. only short cuts set to open through MS office, sorry for the panic but have a massive PowerPoint presentation for tomorrow.but still dont know how to reverse it. help! * +

what operating system do you have? Try right clicking the changed files and select open with. The select what program you want to be its default. If you fail that go to your control panel and set your defaults for program extensions * +

you need to be more detailed. are you trying to say that all shortcuts are set to open with ms office? like,if you would create a shortcut to notepad and click it,it would launch ms office instead? if so,you may need to edit your registry. i need more of your input to help you out * +
