Hello guys. What do you think could be wrong? I sometimes connect my laptop to the internet by dial up using a Nokia 6300 as modem. But last saturday I received new settings frm Airtel and since that time, whenever I try connecting it to laptop it the phone says 'subscribe to Packet data first' while the laptop reads 'Error 734: PPP link control terminated'. Mind you, my phone continues to browse normally and it's ONLY when I try Airtel connection to laptop by dial up that this error shows * +

u are useing bluethooth or usb / pc suite. ....if it is ur new connection uses proxy u need to put that settings in browser too * +

Actually I am not using bluetooth and it's just the same settings sent to me from the same network (Airtel Nigeria). So, what I am having in my settings is not proxy settings. It appears as if the problem is on my laptop and that is I am still trying to identify. * +

Try connecting your phone using nokia pc suite, then it will connect. Or else create a new dialup connection. * +

Create a dialup connection dont ude to put username and password just give the dial number as *99***1 then connect it sure it willl an check the settings inside in mobile under configuration settings if ur settings of gprs is in 3rd use *99***3 is its second use 2 instead of 3 * +
