So I have been waiting for prices of some of the hardware that I was going to buy to come down but my gfx card (9600 GT) just failed on me and has been confirmed dead. So now, Im a lil strapped for cash but there are so many games Im interested in playing and I finally have some time to do now. So, could somebody please tell which of these would be best? * +

I have JUST enough to the GTX 550 but I was wondering if there was a great deal of a difference VS my 9600GT or a GTS450 or GT 440? * +

New generation cards will arrive inside the next 6 weeks it seems however this is probably too long if your machine is no use with a failed card. As for the GTX550 it is a lot faster than a 9600GT * +

Yeah, I cant wait that long, 6 weeks. So yeah. GTX550 has got the power then? lol. And how about the GTS450 vs GTX550? * +

The price difference between the two is rather small but difference none the less. But if the 550 is worth it, Il get it instead. * +

The GeForce GTX 550 should be a lot (more or less 72) more effective at FSAA than the GeForce GTS 450, and also will be able to handle higherscreen resolutions better. * +
