Yesterday evening i was watching football on a live streaming website when my pc was locked. A message came up on my desktop looking very official from the metropolitan and strathclyde police saying that my computer had been used to send and receive images of violence and child p*rnography (for which i categorically deny ever seeing in my lifetime and never wish to see). In return for my computer being unlocked i was asked to pay a fine of 100 pounds through ukash. I looked into this and found * +

This has locked my pc, i cannot run any programs whatsoever on my computer. And yes running windows xp. * +

ive never come across this, but logicaly i think a complete reinstall should do the trick, the do a comlete scan as i heard there are viruses and nasty stuff that actualt infect your ram aswell * +
