what exatley is this going to do iv'e plugged in the stick and selected ready boost option, but don't really see no diffrence in performence to be honest, how can i tell if it's actually doing anything cheers in advance! * +

It won't be as good as installing a new ram chip,it will slow the processor down a bit because it has to read/write through a USB aswell as the ram chip,If u already have 4gb ram and using 32bit os it's not really worth it * +

Upgrading to 4gb will give better noticeable performance than ready boost will and frees up a USB slot * +

Readyboost is pointless , even on machine with low speci it hardly makes a diffrence * +

the only time to use readyboost is with ddr1 ram and win7 or vista. then only if you cant afford upgrade. *
