Been having connection drop and speed issues with my broadband. I am on 20mb total unlimited my actual speed is 13.5 down and 1.2 up. After re-setting up today the problem seems cured with a stable 13.5mb connection this I am pleased with. But BT said I do seem to have a large amount of noise on the line and suggested I use a iplate! And he will send me one FREE!! * +

After a bit of googling it seems all it does is disconnect the bell ring wire that's not used anymore some reviews say upto 2mb extra can be achieved! Has anyone used one and does it work? Reviews seem more in favour of iplate than against! * +
