for some reason i reinstall windows on my pc after every month from the SAME diskette. hence after reinstalling, i av 2 download windows updates again and again. what i want to know is that, is there any way i can save the downloaded updates and install them after next reinstallation. tnx * +

lol ..i don't deal with windows updates but my guess is you download them again via windows updates,look in the list of installed updates and write down the KB hotfix etc,filenames of executables or if not avalible,the name of the update,then look on ms site and copy the download links,then save the installer to a safe place. if its the online installer annoyance,i think you can track down the download link with sysinternals process monitor * +
