It comes on but the data gone both of them and i don't think there any back up as its so old. They was working ok music photo all gone. * +

Thats what happens if you dont back up your data. But is 0sx or 0s9 booting up? And if not have you got recovery discs? For the operating system or your software? * +

you mean you lost data because you dumped the machine somewhere and never used it for a long time? if thats the case then your data was eaten by the earth's magnetic field or the computer was smart to figure out you don't need it anymore and decided to trash the data in order to make you pay for your disloyalty! * +

which ever the case data was lost or should i say magnetic dipoles were re-aligned.try turning the CPU upside down and if you are lucky the data may just pour down and you can collect it. * +
