I agree they usually dont have the knowledge but they can sound very convincing which can be a problem for people that have little or no knowledge. recently a comet salesman told me all core i3 computers were quad core and thats why they are faster than the older core2duo range apparantly! when I asked about core i7 he said they had 7 cores! * +

I think he really didnt have a clue and was assuming intel model numbers follow a logical pattern which they dont! but then if you were to follow that line of thinking corei3 would be 3 cores, core i5 5 cores and of course core i7 7 cores. which actually would make far more sense and its logical if you think about it! * +
