I have to say that sounds a bit kinky but iam willing to try anything to get things going lol even if it is only a spare computer. ive been playing some of my old win 98 games on it you see which xp seems to handle quite nicelt abeit the odd few which will only run on windows 95 lol. (yes 4 games I attempted to load reported they would only run on a windows 95 computer) * +

if it can't enter bios then it is a bigger problem then being out of range. you should try resetting bios as i said before,maybe the keyboard aint working at all and it may be the reason for your gfx problem as well. doesn't hurt to try * +

and yeah,of course it could likely be out of range if some program on your pc messed it up without your knowledge which on a modern pc like windows isn't a thing to be suprised with lol but that still doesn't explain why you can't enter bios and i think you should still be able to enter through safe mode if resolution is messed up. you could try some linux boot disc with its own gfx driver to see can it work in standard resolution without the no signal message. *
