I just dislike compression and low res rips for anything dislike If i rip something for my phone it has to be native res and usually that will mean 1.5GB. I know 700mb rips have been in fashion for ages just because they are CD size but its 2011......space is massive and relatively cheap. I want premium quality now when 16Gb cards are under a tenner a pop and even branded 32GB ones are 20 quid * +

HD rips are fantastic, but it takes ages to download on slow connections like mine,Blue Ray 720p rip will be around 2 gb and 1080p around 4 gb.....it takes 5 hours to download a giga byte for me :-( * +

13GB takes an hour for me. But that's nothing compared to the 100mb or more connections that a lot of people have on another forum I use. * +

likely to be using mkv... but go to any part of that film and go frame by fram and you will see there a lot blockyer and blurred than they should be... often you will find they also run at 23 fps which means they have been fully transcoded and frames have been overlayed which causes the blurring. but the blurring does help when things are moving to help fool the eye. *
