if u can plug a monitor into it there maybe a hotkey to switch the display over, probly why ur gettin no signal message * +

my guess is the alternative monitor you are using doesn't support the resolution you are trying to run. or it could be that your graphic card is also damaged. i would just take it to the repair shop. there may be a chance to cause greater damage just trying to run it like that over and over again *
