phemzask the card is about 5 yrs old or more lol i dont think the driver cd that came with it will even work if i had it. Im running the pc now without any nvidia drivers installed. Pc works but pc is slow and choppy as hell. Videos play ok tho. * +

First of all. On which operating system are you? On Xp go to start then run and enter SFC /purgecache. Hit enter let it clean out the cache otherwise it will copy the driver files right back after installation. Then go to guru3d.com and download the app called driver sweeper. Follow its instructions. First uninstall the driver via its uninstaller then boot into safe mode and run driver sweeper. * +

When its done boot into windows normal mode then install the latest drivers which you also can get on guru3.com. If it still gives you a problem go to evenviewer and post the error message it showed there. 10 to 1 its a dying card which the driver will try to reset it due to robust channel technology they make use of to recover a problem on a card * +
