iv got an old p4 2.4 with a geforce 4 mx 4000 which was working well until i decided to update my video card drivers. Updated to forceware 93.71 and since when been getting nv4_disp.dll loop bsod always and have to restart about 15 times to get it working again. Tried every method in the net but no avail. Lastly tried this method of replacing the dll with another one given in the nvidia forums and * +

registering it with regsvr32 in cmd. But when i type it out i get an error saying failed attempt to access invalid address. Is there any other way to register this new nv4_disp.dll file or is there a way to just remove that dll and unregister it and will my card work after that? * +

tried latest forceware 93.71 and even beta 93.81 drivers. Even uninstalled removed all nv files through safemode and tried the old 66.93 drivers too. No luck what so ever. After loop bsod for about 15 to 20 restarts card works fine again. But after i shut down or restart pc same problem over and over again. * +

never never update a old graphics card driver i had got all this when i tried to update fx 5k00 now downgrade to a old driver or suffer it always help downgrade to a very old driver * +

already downgraded but still problem persists. I need a way around this regsvr32 command as when i try to register or unregister with that command i get the above mentioned error. * +
