my p4 packard bell is failing to respond to the monitors. what could be wrong. i just replaced the old harddrive and one 256 RAM chip which was failing to respond. it worked with the monitor i use at home but after taking it to my work place it isn't showing anything *

tap F8 repeatedly when the Pc starts to get the menu and select VGa mode or low res mode and see if the screen comes up. Probably your home monitor is a higher res/refresh than the work one *
