theres no such thing as reasonably priced as far as so called gaming grade laptops go. your standard run of the mill lappy will set you back 3-500 gaming grade will often start at around 600 and finish in the 1000's but the reality of gaming lappys are that you pay 600 and get the equivilant of a 350 desktop... spend 1000 and you get a 500 pound desktop... * +

pay 2 grand and you get the equivilant of a 750 pound desktop and so on. so no m8 if your looking to play games and mobility isnt a concern then get a desktop. you will get more bang for your buck and it will last longer 2 (i have yet to see a modern gaming laptop that has lasted more than a year without something breaking on it. often the cpu will suffer high temps due to the users inability to * +

if it really doesn have to be a lappy then your looking at 700 pounds minimum and that will give you playable fps on any game but at less than max settings. * +

I agree with Jay. Notice how laptops with the same processor as a desktop, say for Example a sandy bridge i7, will have a ridiculously set up Random Access Memory, just to cope with the intensity. I was looking into the same thing as you, a gaming laptop but found that a PC is not only cheaper, it lasts MUCH longer, two yr plus. * +

And please dont listen to them f@!ed up salesman trying to sell it to you in the shop. Theyre gonna feed you bulls@! just to sell the laptop. Wait about 18 mnths when a gaming laptop is released then find out, like in forums like this, what the people whove bought it have to say about it. Then go from there. Good luck bud. * +

very fast gaming laptops are outrageously expensive so it better getting something just fast enough and accepting its limitations. * +
