not much actually when u plug 2gb memory u will gain 80 to 90mb perfomance boost ..i read this somewere at the time of windows 7 release ..not sure is this info true or not * +

to get any benefit from readyboost wo will normaly need a slower system to start with. if you have a fast cpu and a fast hdd that can do fast none sequential reads then its a waste of time. if you have a green hdd or a large hdd that has slower than average reads then yes you may see a difference. note that any flash device will do. whether it be a usb dump stick or a sd card or even a flash * +
