hello ive just bought a dell inspiron. Specs Core i7 2.0 (turbo boost up to 2.9), 8Gb ram, 2Gb nvidia geforce 525M. Ive installed win 7 and then drivers manually from dell dot com which I am not sure if went ok. The problem is almost every game lags. Even a game that would run on a muuuuuuch weaker machine on maximum settings gives me fps drop downs. Why? Driver problems? Hardware? Help me plz * +

500 mb game, counter strike also was choppy. well but 525M is enough it should be enough to run latest games on high with no probs ive tried fallout 3 i had no lag on ultra settings. * +

it s lagging on games which my granny pc with 512 mb video geforce 6600 wouldnt lag * +

goto video settings of cs and select d3d * +

that card isnt enough to max out new games. it is equivalent to 9600gt * +

the problem is with old games. Or games that dont require resources. While latest games play at maximum. And since 525 is pretty new, with 2gb and cache i find it to have a lot of potential. It is good. But smths wrong. Maybe becuz i havent formatted the hard drive before ins win, or driver install procedure had some failures maybe dunno. Just want to know the problem becuz iam sure its not my bab * +
