got a strange prob with my rewriter, suddenly it wont read or write to writeable disks, prerecorded (shop bought) software and dvd disks still work fine, *

ive done reinstall windows and its still the same, its as though it no longer thinks its a rewriter, everything else is fine, the lazer must be ok as it will read normal disks but not writen disks its kinda spookie *

May be DVD Writter Problem facing same issue in Sony Vaio from last 4 months , sony online help support verified my laptop by logining help they said that ur DVD Writter is faulty *
