it was working all ok but all of a sudden started showing this error when trying to edit new/old document. error is this modification is not allowed because the selection is locked. pls help experts. * +

Download OpenOffice . I cannot afford Microsoft Office , so I can't help you .

the file has been locked (obviously) but we cant help as we have no idea how it got locked, you may have set a password on it or locked it via some security program, or someone you have let use your pc has played a joke on you and locked your files, without knowing how it was done we have no way of helping *
