I'd go with what edit.or said about defrag + reg clean but you can also speed up any pc from start up instantly by going to run.exe, type in msconfig and enter, then go to the startup tab and disable all programs which you don't need when you boot up, usually take off all except security programs, That might not affect the speed of burning discs but will deffo make system run a lot smoother. * +

Try check 4 virus n delect n wnt files frm hdd if problem presist upgrade ua pc *
